Our e3 Ultra Fluoride Removal System Replacement Filters are specifically designed for removing fluoride from your drinking water along with other foundation chemicals like chlorine, chloramine, THMs, VOCs, heavy metals & some forms of pharmaceutical waste. You have a choice of purchasing a 1 micron catalytic carbon block cartridge or our KDF Blue granular carbon cartridge (good for people with hard and or sediment rich water) along with our fluoride removal cartridge.
 
The e3 Ultra Fluoride Removal System has 8 stages of filtration that can protect you and your family with some of the finest filtration technology that is proven to significantly reduce fluoride in your drinking water as well as chloramines, chlorine, VOCs (volatile organic contaminants), THMs (trihalomethanes), lead and other heavy metals along with particulates such as asbestos. It will also protect you from cyst bacterias such as cryptosporidium and giardia (carbon block cartridge only). These water filter cartridges deliver the finest water with spring-like purity at a finger’s touch.
 
This Dual Cartridge System offers a total of 8 filtration stages:
 
Cartridge #1: Fluoride Water Filter Pre-Filtration
 
Stage 1: 100 micron reticulated poly foam (filters particles the size of a human hair)
Stage 2: 550 grams of pre-conditioned fine mesh Activated Alumina (designed to reduce fluorides to below 0.5 ppm)
Stage 3: High efficiency GAC (granular activated coconut shell carbon) for the removal of chlorine, taste and odor.
Stage 4: 20 micron spun-bonded polypropylene (filters particulates 1/4th the size of a human hair).
 
Cartridge #2: 1 Micron Compressed Carbon Block Water Filter
 
Stage 1: Protective polypropylene netting (filtration of large-size particles {dirt, sediment, rust etc.)
Stage 2: 15 micron bonded polypropylene layer (filtration of medium-size particles)
Stage 3: 5 micron melt-blown polypropylene layer (filtration of fine particles)
Stage 4: This final stage is a carbon block compressed to a 1 micron pore size with radial filtration. This technology prevents channeling or bypassing of water, has proven to reduce or eliminate chloramine, chlorine with attendant THMs, VOCs (volatile organic chemicals), lead and heavy metals, micro-organisms (giardia and cryptosporidium) and particles larger than 1 micron.
